My husband's urologist recommended to either remove the prostate or have traditional radiation. Both of which have long recovery times. He is very active so he looked at other options. He had been told by men that have had the Brachytherapy to reach out to Prostate Cancer Institute. His PSA was 18 so he made the decision to have the Brachytherapy. His down time was 2 days! Now after 3 months his PSA is .8. We call that a complete success! We highly recommend Dr Ajay Bhatnagar. My Brachytherapy went very smooth with no complications and very little pain. Thanks also to the urologist Dr. Biren Patel who assisted in the Brachytherapy procedure. We had a good follow up appointment. I recently underwent LDR prostate brachytherapy on 12/01/2025, performed by Dr. Ajay Bhatnagar, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Dr. Bhatnagar demonstrated a high level of expertise and took the time to clearly explain the procedure and what to expect, which provided great reassurance. His staff was equally outstanding—friendly, professional, and attentive throughout every step of the process. State of the Art approach to diagnosis and treatment. The team approach with both my Urologist Dr Jaffee and Dr. Bhatnagar’s excellent team working together to focus on my needs. Very friendly professional staff that catered to my needs, both clinically and administratively. I felt like I was there only patient.
